Author, A Life Full of Blessings

“We live a blessed life. May God grant us the eyes to see just how blessed we are. And the wonderful thing is that God is a God who delights in giving Himself to His people. We were built for knowing and loving God.”

Guidelines For Living

When you make happiness your goal, it never lasts, but when you seek blessing from the Almighty, you have an ongoing source of encouragement.  Like a spring that bubbles forth and will never cease, God’s blessings continue to touch our lives from birth to our home going.

1 Chronicles 29:12-14

12 Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. 13 Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.  14 "But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.

C.   THE THANKFULNESS EXERCISE

Learning to be grateful to God in all things takes practice. It’s like exercising your mind. Paul practiced and learned this positive mindset toward God and it became so much a part of him that it in his letter to the Philippians we see his joyful gratitude exude from him even when he was imprisoned, persecuted for his faith.

A great exercise is to “Count Your Blessings” when you start your day. Make a gratitude list on paper or in your mind. And then share it with someone! Remember Gratefulness is infectious!

D.   HOW DO I DECIDE WHAT GOD WANTS ME TO GIVE?

1.     Will I give BASED on REASON or by Revelation?

Deuteronomy 29:29 NIV

29 The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

2.     Does this amount really STRETCH my FAITH?

Proverbs 11:24-25 ESV

24 One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. 25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.

3.       Does it show I VALUE my HOPE of ETERNAL REWARD more than material things on earth?

1 Timothy 6:19 LB

19 By doing this they will be storing up real treasure for themselves in heaven—it is the only safe investment for eternity! And they will be living a fruitful Christian life down here as well.

4.     Will this amount DEMONSTRATE how much I love CHRIST and His church family?

Acts 4:34-35 ESV

34 There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold 35 and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.

EQUAL COMMITMENT NOT EQUAL CONTRIBUTION

Obviously, God has not given everyone the ability to give the same amount in the area of contribution (money or others). However, God did call us to make the same quality of commitment.

Special NOTE

Next Sunday, _______ is our THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION. And this will be a beautiful day! A day in which we honor God through our best and most precious CASH/NON-CASH gift and COMMITMENT ever.

Thanksgiving at His Life is always about GROWING IN MATURITY in the area of GIVING GRATEFULLY AND GENEROUSLY. This Thanksgiving 2025, we would like to express our thankfulness by giving the best gift we can give to God as we thank Him for who He is and what He had done to us for this year or even more.

This is one way of saying thank You Lord for Your love, grace and mercy which enables me and my family to survive some challenges that befell us this year. Thanksgiving is a good time to remember what God has provided for us in the past, present and for the future. And at the same time to invest in the ongoing work of the Lord.

Quote #1

When we think of the characteristics of God and His glorious splendor, His majesty, His wisdom, His constant presence, His complete knowledge, His unlimited power, His loving and wise plan and purpose; All this should lead us to praise and THANKSGIVING!

Quote #2

We have to be honest that, our desire for God is greatly fueled by our need. And it is in the areas of loss where we feel our need most intensely. Our unmet desires keep us asking and it deepens our prayer life. It makes us search the Bible for God’s promises.

Blessed “eulogeo” where we get the word eulogy means:

·         To praise, celebrate with praises.

·         To summon or petition blessings.

·         To bless a thing with sincere prayers.

·         To ask God's blessing on a thing to bless it to one's use.

·         To cause to prosper, to make happy, to bestow blessings on.

·         Favored of God, blessed.

What Happens Every Time I Give Thanks

·         I give Honor God.

·         It Cures my Materialism and Greed.

·         It Demonstrates My Faith.

·         It Reveals My Character.

·         it Brings God's Blessing.

·         It Brings God's Protection.
